Volver-Nia at Xinalani Retreat Center, Jalisco, Mexico
(From Puerto Vallarta – 45 minutes south by boat)
January 8-15, 2011

Aaaaahhhhh, Volver-Nia retreats. I have the chills just writing about it. It’s how this whole thing started.

Two years ago, I met with an intuitive who said she kept seeing me do a workshop. I was a bit perplexed as I was desiring to get pregnant, and teaching a workshop on only Goddess knew what, was not on my radar. I came home from that session to one lone email in my inbox with the subject line “workshop?” It was a friend of mine who came across a retreat center near Seattle and thought I might want to do a Nia workshop there. I am not the kind of person who needs three signs.

I looked into the place my friend emailed, but the idea of taking a bunch of folks from rainy Seattle to somewhere rainy outside of Seattle was not my idea of getting away. I immediately began searching abroad and within two days my tropical retreat in Mexico was booked. All I needed to figure out next was what I was going to teach. At this point I had been teaching Nia for six years and was experienced at energy, movement and delivering a pretty amazing Nia class. I’d also been studying the human energy system, had just finished the divine feminine education of a lifetime and was still soaking so much up. Well, I thought, maybe I could bring these three things together and see what happens.

To my delightful surprise, by day two of my retreat people were telling me up and down, and all around, that it was one of the best experiences of their lives. People loved it so much, I could barely receive it all. I honestly had no idea it would turn out so awesome. I was just hoping everyone would have a nice time. It was one big research experience gone very right. Everyone kept telling me that I was on to something HUGE. Volver was born.

Sisters – if divine tropical vacations are your thing, this is one of THE most amazing gifts to yourself. This retreat is a gorgeous surrender into your unique journey and thus a very effective way to begin the New Year.

This January 2011, we are going to go to the elegantly casual Xinalani Retreat Sanctuary in Jalisco, Mexico. A 45 minute boat ride from Puerto Vallarta, we spend seven sun-drenched days nourishing our souls through pleasure-centered being and inquiry.

You will lounge on beautiful empty beaches, swim in pristine waters, and/or practice surfing. ALL of this is our backdrop as you unfurl your feminine essence and dance the juiciest Nia every day. It is truly out of this world in every way.
